Cady Sartorius

Cady Sartorius joined the California Civil Rights Law Group after law school. During law school, Cady interned in the Disability Rights section of the ACLU, the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California. She was also on Berkeley Law’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) team and competed on Berkeley Law’s Mock Trial team. Cady also co-edited a publication on anti-discrimination laws worldwide, and worked as a teaching assistant for both Evidence Law and Federal Civil Procedure.

Cady’s former career as a sign language interpreter and her volunteer work for the disabled led to her interest in civil rights law. Cady also loves outdoor activities—hiking, backcountry skiing, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, etc. She embraces every opportunity she can to go dancing, see the sun rise, and smile at people she passes on the street.
